Travel Guide Miami
I am sharing what to see, do and wear when you travel to Miami.
WYNWOOD |
Wynwood is the Brooklyn of Miami. Every building is covered in a unique mural painted by a different artist and filled with unique shops and places to eat.
WYNWOOD WALLS |
Drawing crowds from all over for the beautiful murals, and endless Instagram worthy backdrops. Wynwood Walls is one of the most popular places to see in Miami. If you're like me, go off of the beaten path, keep walking and exploring outside the walls. You will find even more murals, in addition to unique restaurants and shops.

with more of an urban vibe, Wynwood is the perfect place to break out your sneakers and athleisure pieces.
KUSH |
This delicious hole in the wall serves unique farm to table burgers that have won best burger in Miami, and US. In addition to unique combinations like guava or chocolate for beer. I ordered the Kaptain Kush beer made with guava and the Frita Burger, and Jordan ordered Johnny Utah (voted best burger in Miami) with a side of grilled asparagus (yes, they have that as a side). I loved my burger so much, that I am still thinking about it.
If you're really trying to get your health on, head to Cielito Artisian Pops. They make their vegan popsicles from scratch with fresh, local ingredients. They have crazy combinations like the Mascarpone cheese and blueberries, or carrot, orange and ginger-we ordered the carrot ginger. It tasted a little bit like Zicam, with a strong orange flavor and zing from the ginger. We loved it!
SOUTH BEACH |
Typically known as a more touristy location, Jordan and I stayed in the quieter, residential area of South Beach at the Mondrian. Since Jordan had never been to Miami before, we took a bike ride through Miami Beach and walked the strip. In between the bustling streets and restaurants is the Versace mansion. If you're interested, you can get inside by booking a night at their hotel (a cool $900 per night), or their restaurant ($$).
What To Wear (Jordan's Look) |
Aside from being a beautiful hotel and apartment complex, it also hosts bougie day parties at the pool (rose gold sun floats on the pool) and delicious lunch spot. In addition to lounging on the hammocks that face the water, Jordan and I had lunch there. I ordered the kale salad.
A Parisian style cafe with a big outdoor patio shrouded in tropical palms and other plants. Everytime we walked by, the patio was filled with people, so we decided to check it out for breakfast. I ordered the 3 egg omelette with mushroom, spinach and feta with a side salad, and Jordan ordered Oliver's popovers and extra thick French toast. Everything tasted as good as it looked.
Contrary to the name, Nikki Beach isn't a beach at all, it's a day club. It's an outdoor space filled with day beds, a dance floor and DJ booth. However, it is located on a beach, you just have to leave the club to walk to the beach.

MIDTOWN |
During the weekend of the 23-25th, midtown is totally different from its typically quiet nature because of Ultra. Clogged with streets filled with people dressed in neon, glitter and a lot of swimwear.
TEN FRUITS |
If you're looking for a detox, or healthy snack Ten Fruits has fresh smoothie bowls and juices. Jordan and I went here for breakfast and loved it. I ordered the Coco Acai Bowl and he ordered the waffle and PB Acai bowl.
Miami is also home to one of the biggest night clubs E11EVEN. What sets it apart from other clubs are the celebrities and big name acts that come to perform and party at this 24/7 club. We attended E11EVEN, and let me tell you, it was quite the experience. It tops my clubbing experience at both Las Vegas and New York. The energy in the club is high, and the music levels are even higher. While there, we saw Carnage and Tory Lanez play live. We also saw Halsey and G Easy hanging out at their table next to the DJ.
