The Trend That All Bloggers Are Behind | Fall Florals
We all know that florals for spring are groundbreaking, but that raises the question what are florals for fall all about? Summer has seen a flood of Instagrammers in floral rompers, maxi dresses and everything in between. One of my favorite styled looks is by my friend Liza, you may know her as @lizaherlands_. She has been the queen of patterns this summer and has given me some #outfitinspo. But now that summer is coming to an end, we have to start transitioning into fall.
Some of my favorite ways to transition a floral dress is by changing the accessories. Instead of a gladiator sandal, swap in a sneaker or ankle boot. If you're really feeling your outfit, add a felt hat too (I styled today's look with both accessories). Honestly, I think if you style an outfit right, you can make it work for any season. Another blogger styling trick is layering a loose summer dresses under a large sweater or cardigan. This is a styling trick that I am excited to try, and I will keep you posted with how it goes. The most important thing is to make sure that the look feels authentic to you. Are you a sweater kinda gal, or are leather jackets more your thing? Choose the accessory that works for you.
I worked with Shake The Tree and Salmagundi Hat Shop to transition a floral wrap dress for fall. These two local shops are located right next to each other in the North End, and are wonderful to collaborate with!
