How To Wear the Paper Bag Waist Pant for Spring
When it comes to silhouettes, the paper bag waist pant has peaked my curiosity. I was first drawn to the style when I saw how flattering they were on Kendall Jenner. She wore a paper bag waist trouser with a strapless top, and I've been intrigued ever since. When paired correctly, they have the ability to slim waists, and give a unique, yet figure flattering silhouette. Before purchasing these pants, make sure that they are fitted properly to your proportion because it's crucial that they hit you at the slimmest part of your waist. Lucky for me Hope Ave. sent me a pair of paper bag waist culottes that fit perfectly (shop these exact pants here, and in mustard here). My favorite thing about these pants is how figure flattering they are, how formal the material looks, and the fact they they also have pockets. As a tall woman, it's almost impossible to find a long trouser in a paper bag waist, so a culotte is the next best thing. If you struggle with finding pants, a culotte is the perfect alternative, just make sure that they hit at the right spot. If you're short, make sure that they hit right under the knee, and for taller women, mid shin is good.
Just remember to pair them with a fitted, or cropped top so that they can best accentuate your shape.

These pants have been on my wardrobe list for a while, so when I received this pair, I was ecstatic. In addition to being easy to wear for streetwear, they are also great for the office. They have an old school, tailored feel to them that can be transitioned in many different ways. I paired them with a fitted turtleneck, camel coat and heels.
