How To Casually Wear Culottes
Hi everyone and happy Tuesday,
I am trying out this new concept where I show you how to wear a piece for both office and off duty. As someone who is thoughtful about what I buy, I pride myself on being able to wear my wardrobe in more than one way, and I want to help you get the most out of your clothing too. It can be hard finding the right look for an occasion, or wearing a piece in a different way than you usually would, but I want to inspire you to get out of your comfort zone and think of your clothing in a different context.
Today, I am showing you how to wear high waist culottes for off duty. I recently bought them at the Nordstrom sale with the intention of wearing them for work because they are a great alternative to a work pant. The high waist and cropped style create a flattering silhouette that is different from a traditional straight leg or trouser, but still feels polished. Culottes are definitely a staple in my closet because they are such a versatile piece. I personally love pairing them with a graphic or classic tee and slides, platforms or sneakers for a street styled look. The juxtaposition between the pants and relaxed tee make it the perfect "high-low" combination that feels perfect for any occasion.
