Weekend Wears | Statement Sleeves x Denim Cutoffs

My summer has consisted of city during the week and shore during the weekend. Traveling between the two, I notice that beach dwellers have a much different style, and attitude than us city folk. They are much more laid back and easy going and it shows in the way that they dress. Flip flops or bare feet are usually accompanied by lived in denim and a well loved tee. Comfort is key, and it shows in their effortless looks.

To be honest, we need more of that go with the flow attitude in our daily lives. You may not be able to achieve it with schedule or workload, but you can achieve it in the way that you dress. Here is my beach inspired look for this weekend. It's the perfect mix of city and sea.

Swimwear underneath optional, but beachy waves is a must with this look.

Speaking of casual and relaxation. dogs are the best way to achieve that. So I included my dog Louie in the shoot.
