Beachwear | Embroidered Denim

On Thursday, I had the pleasure of attending an influencer event with the apps Skedaddle and Mesh. For those of you who don't know, Skedaddle is a ride share app based on your interests, think of it like a luxury school trip with all of your closest friends to wherever you want to go. You pick the location, to and from (for example a concert), and get 10 of friends to join the ride, reserve and you're all set. You can also join trips too, just open the app and see where people are headed. We (25 creatives) and myself traveled from Boston to Rhode Island on the ultimate beach trip. On the bus ride down, we chatted, created and tested out the drone. All of us rode in style in the luxury Skedaddle bus, loaded with tasty goodies, like beverages from High Brew Coffee, Briggs Original cider and Farmer Willies ginger beer. To say that this day was fun was an understatement, it's so inspirational to be around fellow creatives and do what you love. Not only did I have the opportunity to chat about our field, and creative process, I also got to shoot with many talented photographers. One of which being Can Ahtam, a well known Boston portrait photographer.

This shoot was also created with Faithful Jeans Co. I reached out to Kathleen one of the co-founders of the company before this trip to use her denim in some of the shots. For those of you who don't know Kathleen, she is a fellow Boston blogger and fashion enthusiast like myself. She started her company from the ground up after her co-founder Estefania saw her hand distressed denim (which is pretty impressive) and encouraged her to pursue it. Kathleen handles the distressing, where Estefania takes care of the intricate hand embroidering. Their mission is to "to love, to create, to inspire, all through faith, that is the mission behind Faithful Jeans and Co.".
