Denim For Tall Ladies

Whenever I talk to peers about brands, length and inseam are the typical follow up question. Inseam is the length of the leg of a pant (where the legs meet, to the bottom of the pant).  Typically inseams run from 27"-30", but long inseams can range from 33″-39″. Tall women know this term well because it can make or break a purchase. So, to make your holiday shopping easier, I listed brands that carry long inseams.

*Websites that don’t show inseam charts.  They may indicate under the particular product (for example TopShop has W2836 to indicate waist and inseam).

Brands that carry long inseams:

Abercrombie and Fitch: 33″.

Alloy: 35″-37″.  One of the most accommodating brands for taller women, plus they have great prices!

American Eagle: 34″. Their sky high jeggings are the most flattering jeans I own, I’m obsessed.

Anthropologie: 35.5″.  I usually find my pants here by lots of trying on, and luck.  Their Pilco brand has great, legging-like ankle jeans.

Asos: 34″-36″.

*Banana Republic: 34″. This is depending on what jean you choose.

*BDG Jeans by Urban Outfitters:   33″-34″. I know this because of extensive research (go to jeans and then inseam under pants.  I love their Cigarette High Rise jeans, they are so flattering!

*Diesel: 34″.

*Free People: 35″-37″. Their skinny jeans are great and are so long that they bunch a little at the bottom!

Gap: 34″-37″.

*Hudson Jeans: 34″ I have tried these and they aren’t very long.

*JCrew: 34″. they have a tall section, but you have to check the individual pant reviews to make sure it’s long enough.  I love their Lookout High Rise jeans!

Joes Jeans: 32″-34 1/2″ depending on style.  I have tried these jeans on and they’re notvery long.

Long Tall Sally: 34″-39″. By far the longest selection of lengths.

Lucky Brand: 34″-36″. They have great flare jeans that are extremely flattering!

*Paige Denim: 35 1/2″.

*TopShop: 36″. Runs small.
